Sunset Rock and Coolidge Park, Pt 2, with Claire n Easton

Sabbath afternoon, March 21, along the walk from the top down to Sunset Rock

Ryan n Randy hiked the muddy path up to meet us at Sunset Rock.

A pop-up wedding took over the rock while we were up there! The poor girls had to be freezing - it was low 60's and breezy.

Hiking up to the van from the rock

(Carrie's - a rare picture of nobody on the walking bridge on a Saturday)

Not many on the bridge - thanks to the Coronavirus Pandemic
We had a picnic supper at the deserted Coolidge Park.

The grass was soggy so the game of catch was mostly on the sidewalk.

Spring is in full bloom down by the riverside

Spring Break Adventures, Part 1 - with Claire n Easton

Easton kept pretty close contact with his magnetic koala from Australia - in spite of the social distancing recommendations.

A walk on SAU's deserted campus Sabbath afternoon, March 14

Her first Monopoly game ever - she wiped us out. . . notice her hotels on Boardwalk and Park Place

This was taken after Grandpa went bankrupt and she got all of his properties.  I was almost toast at this point too.

It was a very rainy week - but we kept walking, even if umbrellas were needed.

Crazy 8's fun with Claire n Easton

Randy and Ryan did a lot of work on their Suburban - Randy would love to fill you in on all the details.  The part I remember is that the new spark plugs and wires resulted in a huge increase in their mileage - they went from 13 mpg coming down to 20 on their way home!

Slot cars took over the ping pong table (Carrie's)
Our picnic shelter at the Chicamauga Dam River Walk (Carrie's picture)
Picnic with Mom, Ruthie n Milt by the dam and were thankful for a shelter since it rained a little during lunch.

A walk along the River Walk after our picnic (Carrie's)

Another favorite game the four of us played

Our Princess candy hunt

Easton loves these Paw Patrol containers that we got for him and found candy in them from our cruise.

Claire's Easter headband.  We tried a new recipe for muffins that was yummy - Pineapple coconut banana muffins.

The six of us batted the tennis balls around CA's courts one evening.

Claire learned to play Clue and LOVES it - a girl after my own heart.  The Mystery Museum game too.

Easton helping Grandpa make our Sabbath dinner dessert, frozen fruit (bananas and strawberries) cream.
