Another stop overnight at Ryan's en route home

We had supper and fun all together at Jaclyn's Sun. night.  Music was provided by Jaclyn n Carrie on the boom whackers with a few add-ins now and then.

No shortage of games and cars

Yummy haystack in the making

That was a meal to smile about, eh Jackson?!

These are more fun than the boom whackers for Jordan and Easton.

The first book Claire ever read to us - how exciting!

These Bob books for new readers are cute - the new Dick n Jane?

Story time Sun. night (they were leaving Mon. morning for a week long recruiting trip with Ryan to Boston)

Celebrating Mom's 92nd birthday with her

We went to Mom and Coleman's last week to celebrate her Jan. 11 birthday with her. We were blessed to have dry roads coming and going for the trip to PA.  The ice and snow on the Susquehanna River was very scenic along the road going north out of Harrisburg.
Mom sent stickers back to Claire in the birthday card envelope that Claire decorated with stickers for her.
Birthday flowers for the birthday girl

Her birthday cake at Country Cupboard

Mom's birthday apple pie that Karen and Art brought over along with lots of other tasty gifts.
Fri. evening we went to Coleman's grandson's place for another birthday dinner for both Tyler and Mom. Appetizer time.

It snowed Fri. night so we woke up to this Sabbath - it was beautiful.  This is their neighbor's back yard.  The storm started Fri. with temps dropping from 60 to 40's before sundown, that brought heavy rain and fog, and then dropping way below freezing overnight and 2-3 inches of snow on top of the ice, which made for slick roads Sabbath - so church was cancelled.

Amy n Jeremy's creation

Scraping ice - we don't miss that, living in TN  :)

It was a cold walk Sabbath afternoon but it was so beautiful we just HAD to go out and enjoy it.

Quick Stop at Claire n Easton's on our way to Mom's

Our walk Wed. morning (Jan. 10) included a playground stop

Easton really goes places on his balance bike

They even have lights up on their shed in the back yard to enjoy from inside!

This is Claire's new game of Life (60's edition) - and what a lot of learning goes on playing this for her.

Tickled to be in his element!
