Last evening after I blogged in W. Yellowstone, we saw the same "blonde" grizzly on our way back to our campground that we had seen going in to town - so here he is! He was very close to an elk, as you can see in the picture below.

While we were watching the grizzly, two wolves came out of the woods and were bouncing up and down - apparently after something we couldn't see in the grass. There were a lot of us standing along the road watching, and traffic coming from the other way slowed down to all take a look too. As we headed on, we passed about 2 miles of traffic backed up going the other way. The saddest part was they animals had all disappeared into the woods except the elk, so they wouldn't even get to see the action when they finally got to the "hot spot."

After a vicious storm that hit just as we got back to our campground, I finally got to sleep. I thought our little egg Casita was going to get blown across the campground and stop when it hit a bison or something! Once again, we made it through the night uneventfully (our second storm of the trip).

We left our campground at 6 a.m. headed for the Tetons and got a lovely campsite in Coulter Bay Campground at about 8 (we had to stop for lots of sunrise pictures along the way).

Randy at Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park just south of Yellowstone. A real plus for this park is there is wi-fi available at two locations right in the park. I am blogging at the beautiful Lake Jackson Lodge just 5 mi. south of our Coulter Bay Campground.

Jenny Lake is just as beautiful as we remembered it to be

There's not much wildlife to be seen in this park, but as we left the park to go into Jackson Hole, we saw two moose on an island. We hope to see more tomorrow.

Taken on the town square in Jackson, Wyoming this afternoon. There are four antler arches on the corners of the town square - really cool! And the stores have the most beautiful hanging baskets all around.
