Kitchen Renovation, April - June!

Good-bye pink counter top - I will NOT miss you!

Hello new Rev-a-shelves!

Finally, an easily accessible place for small appliances, pots and pans, and more.

Back in May, Randy used his drummel-like tool to clean up the old brass hardware. What a nice difference! He touched up the cupboards where needed.

Our talented neighbor, Mike, helped Randy one LONG day in June put in our new counter-top and sink and faucet, and dishwasher!

Roger and Randy delivered the old counter-top the next day to the Restore Habitat for Humanity business.

The backsplash job was started Monday, June 26.

Spreading the mastic tile adhesive

The second long wall had a lot of cut-outs to keep it interesting. . .

He spread the acrylic grout on Friday, June 30 and it looks so good!

We finally got the Rev-a-shelf for the big lower cupboard under the microwave cabinet.

Tiling around the woodwork around the window was a royal pain - but what a great job he did!

This is the manual tile cutter he bought on FB Marketplace for $15 and put to good use.

The backsplash is glass that we bought from SouthEastern Salvage.
