Jessica (Clukey) and Anthony's Wedding

A beautiful day and setting by the TN River for Jessica's outdoor wedding on Mon., May 9.

Anthony's boys are adorable.

Her dress was so beautiful, and so was she in it!

Her grandpa from Maine had the wedding.

Ryan is engaged to be married this summer!

(Official photographers pictures from here to the end of this post - Hannah and Ashlyn Ford.)
Anthony was in the Marines.  They met in high school.

Ryan's fiance is the blonde bridesmaid.

Juneau - oldest church in town (Russian Orthodox again)

Glacier Bay - it rained and then snowed on us.

Trying to stay dry in the Crow's Nest while viewing the glaciers thru raindrops.

The bow where we watched calving glaciers in the rain. (Gail's picture)

Live orchids

Very Fishy bar stools

Our cabin was 7046, just down the hall from Ruthie and Mom in 7026 - a balcony room.

I took my swimming suit but never got it out of the suitcase for some reason.  One pool was enclosed, but it was even too cool in that area to intrigue me.

The enclosed pool and two hot tubs

About to "push off" in Seattle.  What fun it was going on this trip with Mom again!  We went last time in 2010 with lots of us - Knights, Hunts, Ryan n Carrie, Ruthie n Milt, Mom n Coleman.

Seven of us who traveled together - Gail (Milton's brother) and his wife Yvonne came too and it was their first cruise.

On the back lido deck leaving Seattle

A cool picture on the wall in our room.

The other picture on the wall - can you believe they'd put a nude broken statue picture up!

Milton asked for peanut butter the first night in the dining room, so we had it without asking every night.  And four of us enjoyed it, in place of butter.  It seems incongruous almost having a gold napkin ring on a fancy table setting, with PEANUT BUTTER!

We enjoyed walks on the Promenade (level 3) most every day.  Three times around was one mile.

Music and dancing in the B. B. King's Blues Club that was to be like Memphis music.  A brief taste of this music was enough. . . Our favorite music on this cruise was by Tammy, a pianist and vocalist, who performed most nights and sometimes with Mitch, another amazing pianist/vocalist in the Billboard Onboard bar area.  We always ended up sitting behind Tammy so didn't take a picture of her back.

We participated in the 5K "Walk for a Cause" (Ukraine) on Friday along with LOTS of others.

Another fishy photo op

Gettin' ready for some Play Nine fun!

We enjoyed the 11th observation deck Crow's Nest a LOT.  We saw sea otters but no wales while watching for them.  But at dinner one evening we did see whales - several spouts, backs, and tails too!  No pictures of course.

A book I enjoyed from the ship's library that gave a LOT of interesting information about Alaska - like 70% of towns in Alaska are not accessible by car and that there are NO snakes in Alaska.

These elevator rugs were our salvation. . . you really do lose track of what day it is on cruises and the week goes by toooooooooooooooooo fast.

Beautiful elevator doors (Gail's picture)!  I wish I'd taken a picture of my favorite glass elevators with a view of the ocean.

Captain Pieter Bant from Holland

Ryan, the Cruise Director

I love this picture of you, Mom!

And this one of you two also, Ruthie n Milt!

The location of our table in the dining room was right beside the waiter's busing area right inside the entrance - not so picturesque, but we had a great waiter and view out the nearby windows.  The sun was bright in our faces when we arrived on Thurs. evening when this was taken by Tito, our server.

Very unusual flower arrangements on the ship

Checking out the interactive map of where Holland Am. cruises go - dreaming!

Classy music from these international musicians from Japan, Serbia, Greece and one other we don't remember.

He enjoyed his vacation from the wisteria war!
