38 Halvorsen's Reunite at Our 77th Reunion

Fri. evening Vespers at Lee and Leilani's place

It was a hot, humid day but we survived.

Janice put together a nice collection of pictures of her dad for his Celebration of Life

Lyle came and I hadn't seen him since he was a little kid, or met his lovely wife Erin before.

Marvin shared Ned's life sketch, and Bill Strong shared words of hope.

Randy had special music, "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms" - a bluegrass arrangement since Ned liked that kind of music.

These first cousins hadn't been together in years, Ned's nieces, nephew, grandson, and great grandson.

Allison is due with another girl in November.

Ned made this Dulcimer that Janice gave Randy. It still needs to be strung.

Sunday brunch was delicious - cinnamon rolls, blueberry French toast that Ruthie made, baked oatmeal, pancakes with fruit toppings, egg casserole, banana bread, cantaloupe, orange juice, and more.

Judie has leukemia and has been told she won't live beyond October.  She's getting blood every couple weeks, so much that her blood type has changed. It was sad saying good-bye before they headed back home to Kansas.

Ken and Karen flew in from Maine

I loved having these first cousins here this year, and Ruthie and Mom too.

Bill and Dixie - she loves playing games so hung in there till we had to leave at 2 with Play Nine.
