We got out of school on Wed., Oct. 15, at noon and headed to Michigan via Nashville and Southwest Airlines! What a way to go. Anne and her kids came over Thurs. evening to see us - of course, we played some Clue together. And we picked up Ryan at the Detroit airport Thurs. night (he's been a bachelor while Carrie is traveling with a group from Highland on their history trip to Boston, etc.). We flew since we were buying Grandpa's 2004 Chevy Express van and didn't want to drive two vehicles home.

No visit is complete without some pool for Ryan and Randy, Grandma and Grandpa.

Friday was golf day for the guys and Uncle Jim.

Colleen came by to visit Friday night for awhile.

The colors behind the Plymouth church were breathtaking.

And there's our "new" van with just 8800 miles on it. We figured it was about time to replace our '92 Chevy van with 155,000 miles on it. Gotta' have something to pull the boat to the lake with. We're too hooked on that to give it up, even though the kids aren't home. It's never hard to find people ready to accept our invitation to go out with us on the boat.

Saturday night we went to Three Cedars Farm where they have hay rides, a corn maize, cider and donut hut, country store, goats to feed, and you name it!

Did this ever feel real and white stuff even squirted out! Fortunately Bessie didn't kick though.

Heather sittin' pretty

A dear on a Deere!

Engineer Jess is in 7th grade already

The cider was the best and the donuts, well they were tasty too.

Back home, Clue occupied some of us addicts.

On our way home Sunday, we got a tour of Ryan's school. It's nice to be able to picture him where he works now. It's a very nice facility and what a setting out in the country.

In his office next to the gym.

His gym where he enjoys teaching his Kindergarten thru 5th grade cherubs.
