Boating, IHOP, and Cherries

Before we put the boat in the water on Thursday last week, we went to Amigos for lunch.  Good thing, cause it cut loose and poured for about 45 minutes.  We were hopeful though that we could get in a nice ride without more rain, based on the forecast, and we did!

We did our best to stay out from under the most ominous clouds.

Waiting and waiting for our breakfast Sunday at IHOP.  Randy got his free birthday stack of pancakes.  You can't be in a hurry when you go there.  We waited a good 45 minutes for our meal. 

Aldis deal this week on cherries was too good to resist getting a bunch to pit and freeze, $1.89/lb.  We brought home 10 bags over the last two days.  Mom helped too so we got it done without too much pain.  But our fingernails look so awful, in spite of lemon juice treatment.  Cherry juice stains are so ugly.  Any suggestions on how you remove it?
