Cades Cove Bear Hunt

We spent 4 nights camping in Pigeon Forge so we could go bear hunting in Cades Cove.  The beginning of the Cades Cove loop supplies views of the trail riding horses.  I love this picture that Randy got.

A couple of the many bears we saw during our four days there.

On the Abrams Falls trail, we came upon this surprise. We waited for her to get her cubs moved up the hill. We were thankful that the man in the bottom right corner of this picture had bear spray.

We saw many mama bears with triplets.

My cell phone camera doesn't get good zoom pictures, but I kept trying.  I'm glad we had the Canon camera with us that took these pictures.

This yearling came right under the fence and crossed the road in front of our car.

We camped at Waldens Creek Campground in Pigeon Forge since the national park campground wasn't open yet.

We were glad Mom, Ruthie n Milton came over Fri. and stayed in a motel Fri. and Sat. night.  We enjoyed two trips around the cove with them, and a picnic in the Cades Cove picnic area Sabbth.
