A Walk in two Parks

This One Man Band in Dreamland Drive-In reminds us of your brother, Carrie.  What do you think?

That's him again on the hood - playing the part of the nerd.

And there he is in the tan pants.

The cast is brand new for Dreamland Drive In. They did a great job.
Laundry day at Dollywood

We drove through Gatlinburg and saw this new pedestrian bridge near where the the Ober chair lift takes you.

Warming up by the fire on the Gatlinburg trail  ;)

Walking through the bakery at Dollywood, somebody bought some of this pie that was whole our first day there. For just $18.99/slice, why not. . .

The Summer Festival ends today, August 4.  We were disappointed in the shows last week.  They really are slipping.  They have had some great shows in the past, like dog shows, bubble shows, or a circus.  The "Summer Feeling. . ." show in the DP Celebrity Theater was not to our liking.
Their flower baskets are beautiful.

Wildwood Grove, Dollywood's expansion, has family oriented rides mostly - a couple for adults too.

At least the fireworks were good and Joe the Juggler, the last two things we saw.
