It's banquet time!

I learned a lot tonight about a new style - Shabby/Chic.
That was the theme of our spring banquet today.

Vicki and Jeff

Have a look at the outfits the kids wore to our spring banquet tonight at the Renaissance House in Ringgold. Interesting, eh?

You can't see the sandals he wore with his suit! I did too with my party dress - made it lots more comfortable and fit right in with the crazy styles. I couldn't bring myself to wear tennies like Whitney did in the picture below! The pool is behind Randy just behind the house. The couple had a daughter get married 3 years ago this May. It was cheaper to build this lovely building and gazebo than to rent a place for her reception they decided. They didn't intend to rent it out, but people at the wedding asked if they could use it, so got them going.

Notice all the blue jean jackets on the girls. They had to tell me who this guy was - he doesn't wear glasses usually and it totally changed his appearance, along with the goofy bow tie!

The Bradford pear trees are going full tilt now down here that you see in the background. This girl is our school board chair's daughter. Cute outfit, eh?

El Meson catered the meal - delicious Mexican cuisine. Parents brought a variety of scrumptious desserts and they had tasty watermelon, strawberries and grapes.

Gabbi works for me. She and Austin (the principal's son) have been a "thing" for quite awhile. They won the prize for the best dressed couple.

Another blue jean jacket over the party dress.

I love Hunter's hat!

Jenni and Rachel out at the gazebo

The man who owns this property collects vintage cars like this. They made some nice "props."

The entertainment was a talent show by CA kids. These guys sang "For the Longest Time" and did so well. They did the best we thought.

Nice banquet attire - it's what guys especially enjoy.
