Personal Finance Classes Party Time

Enough of teaching my students how to be frugal - let's party! That's what my two sections of Personal Finance did on Thursday morning. We all contributed food for our breakfast first at the 50's diner. Most of them really enjoyed the cheesey hash brown casserole I brought, so much that one boy even asked for the recipe for his mom. After the food, then came the Financial IQ game, which was a fun way to review a lot of what they had learned this semester about investing, budgeting, buying on credit, and other general financial information.

I forgot to get the group together for a picture in Section 2 probably since they all pitched in to help me get stuff delivered to my car from the kitchen at the end of class, but here's Section 1 - minus a couple who were missing on party day.
