Armchair Birding, etc...
Yesterday after dinner, we sat in the family room watching birds enjoy the sunflower seeds at the feeder just outside the window on the deck. Randy captured pictures of a few of our visitors.
Love those sunflower seeds! I must tell my Mrs.
Did he leave me any????
See my black cap!
The view from the back end of the porch/deck of the feeder we enjoy watching from inside.
We have one tree out back that's still hanging onto its gorgeous leaves.
Here's the rock garden beyond that feeder that I spent the last two Sundays planting bulbs in and cleaning out.
Randy mulched & mowed again today. It sure beats raking!
I made burgundy valances for the guest room a week ago. They go better with our colors than the dark green ones did.
It's blurry, but you can see the difference having things on the walls makesin the living room nd dining room.

Randy got the boat to fit in a week ago after hours of rearranging stuff, etc. etc. etc.! It was a major accomplishment. Before it was in kitty corner occupying the ENTIRE double garage.
You can see how he had to cut out the plywood at the back corners behind the boat to enable us to close the door and squeeze it in. He had to snip a metal support on the garage door where it came down over the trailer tongue too - it was unbelievably close - there is 1/2" to spare! His goal is to one day get another car in there beside the boat. First a broken spring on the garage door has to be fixed and a few more things moved out - left over new carpet pieces especially.
Tonight Jason & Ryan enjoyed some air hockey with makeshift "paddles" since ours are still in a box somewhere apparently. Somehow we kept track of the pucks. We still don't have the pool table set up. Randy figures he needs a good 6 hours to get that job done.
