December around Home

Megan (Jeremy's cousin) and Raul came for Fri. supper

My classy mom, at church

This harp ensemble Evensong provided heavenly music to close the Sabbath

One of the many puzzles we put together this month for the Sam. Ctr.

Academy classmates came to dinner when Toby was visiting - Mutchlers and Towles.  I opted to use paper to simplify the cleanup.

I sure missed hearing this the last two years - or was it three?

The Roueche Chorale and Orchestra's Candlelight program was beautiful!

Silent Night

We drove around on our way home looking at Christmas lights.

The Olive Garden dinner one rainy Friday for lunch

Kids for Jesus (Brenda Walsh) Benefit Concert at Collegedale Community Church

This one takes the "nightmare puzzle" prize

We are blessed with his fabulous classical guitar music often!

Some new Christmas placemats I sewed together

Mmmm good - buckeyes!

CA's Alumni Band had a great Christmas concert at the Collegedale Commons

After a tasty lunch at the Acropolis

Our church choir's Evensong Christmas program

Saturday night fun

Metropolitan Bells - Randy's favorite Christmas concert each year

What a sad day for  this train engineer - when he slammed into a semi trailer that hadn't cleared the train crossing by Southern's duck pond.   Only two from the RR company sustained minor injuries. Box cars are still strrewn around the area and the diesels haven't yet been removed.  But they had the tracks repaired and in use again within two days.  Otherwise  McKee's couldn't stay open.

Talking to Ruthie on their 50th anniversary Hawaii cruise

One of the many beautiful numbers at our church's Christmas Eve service

Autumn Squash soup at Panera!

A Coopers Hawk sat for a long time one day right outside our window, watching the feeder traffic closely.

It was a tasty Christmas Eve Sabbath dinner at Hunts with friends

The most difficult puzzle of the month only had  300 pieces but they were small!

It had one missing piece - how disappointing!

Mom looking over her new 2023 calendar

His new tools and case for them

This was the coldest Christmas we've experienced in Collegedale, when it got down to 5 degrees!  No snow, but ice in the ditches.
