Winterizing, and other Work for the Retired Guy

Randy finished scrubbing the deck railing back in mid-October - he took this before picture but forgot to do an after shot.

We had to rake for the first time in years, since the mower was not available and the rain was coming. It was just as much "fun" as I remembered it to be, blisters and all.

He decided to treat the boat deck before we went out to winterize it.

the last cruise of the year on a summer-like day when we went out to winterize the boat

We discovered that we DO need the new starter after all. . . it almost didn't start when it was time to suck the pink stuff thru the engine!  Another job to occupy him.  He also replaced the water pump on the Buick, and the serpentine belt and hoses.  He waxed the Casita and van  (look at that shine!) and did some minor repairs needed on the trailer
before our trip north to PA.  He loves having time to truly maintain things and prepare for a trip.
