Applesaucers Set New Record!
This afternoon after school we sauced 2 1/2 bushels of Jonagold apples that we bought yesterday. It's nice to be able to use our basement "canning kitchen"
I would still be working on it if it hadn't been for Randy's help. He chopped them all and has a blister to prove it. And he washed ALL the pots and pans and bowls and the Victoria strainer too. I'm so lucky! We had it all done by 6:30 except for putting the boxes in the freezer. We got 85 pints of good eatin' this winter put up.

Yup we are both lucky to have such good men that help us in the kitchen. Roger helped me finish up my tomatoes too. Nice to have him tightening jars and lifting them out of the hot water.
