Visit with Jaclyn & Ryan

We began our 3-week trip west with a stop at Ryan and Jaclyn's in Gentry on June 2 and 3. What a lovely home they have in that quiet rural setting. My only complaint is it's WAY too far away from here.

We enjoyed the Drive-thru Safari outing, in spite of the threat of rain and sprinkles off and on. Check Jaclyn's blog for lots more pictures.

Surprise surprise. . . we managed to squeeze in some Settlers - 3 of us went to bed feeling good about the outcome at least. That way we'll get Ryan to play when they visit us shortly hopefully!

We drove through heavy rain getting to Gentry, and a sandstorm after heading west, in NM. But we camped at the beautiful Santa Rosa Lake State Park at the end of the day. The picture below shows the sunrise the next morning as we pulled out.
