Gorgeous Weekend for Visit with Amy & Jeremy

Last Friday evening we arrived finally just after 5 at Coxes, after the GPS goose chase round Lancaster County and who knows where else! I didn't think we'd EVER get there. Chuckie (Amy's horse) and Artie were grazing around the yard. Nikki, Jeremy's dog, ran up to the car to greet us, who we thought at first might EAT us. . .

. . . by Sunday, we knew better ~ they were great play mates.

We met Dumplin too, Amy's bunny. He was the softest rabbit, with very short red hair, and LONG toenails!

After supper Friday, we went out to Elk Neck State Park and hiked out to Turkey Point. We forgot to take our camera, but we took this shot from the boat Sunday as we went by. Hopefully Jeremy will share pictures he took with us.

Amy made a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie for us for Sabbath dinner. See the lattice work?

Sabbath evening we enjoyed a picnic supper over at Terri's sister's place after a hike.

Sunday we enjoyed a cruise and picnic lunch on Coxes' Wellcraft that they got last summer. It was rough water so nobody dared tube or ski. It was daring enough to sit in the bow!

We enjoyed a swim in the pool after the boating excursion
before going to the Olive Garden with Amy & Jeremy.
