Ryan's Bedroom & Eating/Computing Area

Yes, Ryan does have a bedroom in his apartment and this is one corner of it. The quilt he chose to put on his bed for now I made him out of his little flannel PJ's that he wore when he was oh so cute and little. Some of the squares have the little PJ pockets on them. I made one for Amy too - that was when they were both down with chickenpox back in VA.

This is taken from the living room in Ryan's apartment. The computer nook area is between the bathroom/laundry area and the kitchen. His bedroom is around the corner behind the TV.

This weekend we've enjoyed having Fords here. They'd planned to stay last night at Jaclyn's, but the power was knocked out over there thanks to the storm that swept through here about 6, so they slept here after all, since we were still blessed with AC. Tonight was fun playing games at the church activity room with Renee's family, as we celebrated Jaclyn's birthday a little early. Ken shot way too many pictures, so maybe I'll steal some from his blog to put here, since we forgot to take our camera, if he posts them.

School starts for us in a week, Aug. 14, so it's crunch time when we get back Wed. evening, with not much play time left this summer. Our boat is still on the disabled list anyhow, so we might as well be working. The heat was too much for the boat I guess. After researching the problem it had on the Internet, Randy thinks a new impeller is needed, but hasn't had a chance or the right weather to tear into the job.
