Easter Weekend in Florida

Good Friday/Easter Weekend was a good chance to escape to FLA to see Ryan where he's been student teaching, and Grandma TJ too in Zephyrhills. Friday we played shuffleboard with about 20 others from Mom's park in their round-robin tournament. We fit in very nicely! Randy talks often about wanting to move there. I'm still a chicken and couldn't handle the hurricane season...

Sabbath we enjoyed a picnic with the family at Lettuce Park, but didn't see any alligators. It was fun seeing Auntie Ruby, Uncle Henry, Uncle Lester, Ken and Auntie Cork again. We hiked around the boardwalk looking for alligators, but didn't spot any even though it's their mating season and the lady in the visitor's center said chances were good of sighting them now.

Sunday we left after dinner and washing the cars to go see Forest Lake Academy. We got there just before sundown and toured the campus and took several pictures. Like Ryan said, the gym is definitely the nicest building. He "loves" his accommodations in their motel units.

This is at FLA - the motel units are behind the campus buildings, but very close to the gym and track and field where he's spent most of his time.
